New acquisition  for Cefla Finishing Group

Cefla Finishing Group (www.ceflafinishinggroup.com) has announced an agreement with Dantherm Filtration to acquire Cattinair Finishing.

The agreement was signed at Pont de Roide (France), the historical home town of Cattinair Finishing, and will be executed as of December 1, 2007.

Founded in 1979, Cattinair Finishing has been growing over the years to gain significant market shares, thanks to specific production centered around the rotary spraying machine “Rotoclean”.

 Cattinair Finishing will continue its activity in finishing technology for contoured panels, with a separate brand and independent business unit, keeping the historical headquarters in Pont de Roide (France) and the Thomasville (North Carolina, Usa) site, developing and expanding the business for rotary spraying machines. Cattinair will maintain test labs and showrooms in France and the United States.

The current sales organization composed of agents and dealers will be maintained and further developed. This arrangement will ensure the constant and organic level of collaboration in this area to continue.

Additionally, the acquisition of Cattinair Finishing will allow Cefla Finishing Group to take a further step toward increasing its market share growth in the wood finishing sector.
