Workshop on GreenBuilding

During the “European forest week 2008”, from 20-24 October 2008, declared by the ministers responsaible for forests of 46 european countries, there will be a number
of interesting events, including a workshop on Monday, 20 October, in Rome at Fao on “The Roles of Wood in Green Building, and Green Building effects on the Forest Sector in the UNECE Region.” Green building is a strong trend in residential and non-residential construction in North America and Europe, which is impacting wood markets, and eventually the entire forest sector. The workshop is organized by the Unece/Fao Team of specialists on forest products markets and marketing.
