Klimahouse goes to Rome

“Klimahouse” was set up in Bozen and conceived, from the outset, for the Italian market. The figures of the three Bozen-based editions of this international trade fair focused on energy efficiency and sustainable construction are clear: it was a huge success, with a melting pot of operators and visitors from Italy at the latest edition, held in January 2008, 83.2% coming from outside the Bozen province and 2.3% from abroad. “Klimahouse” in 2008 exceeded the greatest expectations with almost 37 thousand visitors, especially industry operators coming to Fiera Bolzano to find out the innovative products presented by 375 companies. Some 20% visitors came from central and southern Italy. Fiera Bolzano, after a long market research phase and talks with both exhibitors and visitors, decided to organize an edition of “Klimahouse” with congress also in central Italy to spread information on a vital driver for Italian economy: housing construction.
“Klimahouse Roma” is the 1st trade fair for energy efficiency and sustainable construction. From 23 to 24 October 2008, the capital will be a meeting point, easy-to-reach for those who already know “Klimahouse” and for anyone who is interested in the CasaClima concept but couldn’t go to Bozen. As an ideal place of this first edition, Fiera Bolzano opted for “Palazzo dei Congressi” in the heart of Eur in Rome.
“Klimahouse Roma” provides operators from central and southern Italy with the chance to have information on the systems, requirements and benefits of energy saving in the construction industry, with some 100 companies and their exhibition stands on a 2,500-square-meter exhibition surface. The core of the event will be the international congress and, just like in Bozen, international speakers will come to Rome to report on all aspects regarding the European sustainable energy campaign; a great occasion to promote the concept of CasaClima combining ecologic behavior and economic considerations.
