News at Eurobois 2009

The biennial exhibition Eurobois, dedicated to construction timber and woodworking machinery, will be taking place in Lyon (France) from 25 to 28 February 2009 (www.eurobois.net).
In the industry, Eurobois is the most important event for the French market.  The 2007 edition highlighted the strategic importance of this event because of its geographical position, giving extraordinary business benefits for this specific industry: about 40 Italian companies participated as exhibitors. In France, Lyon is located in the region with the highest concentration of woodworking machinery manufacturers and the largest volumes of production and use of raw material wood.
Some 50 thousand visitors and over 400 exhibitors are expected, also thanks to the strong synergetic impact of the events being held together with Eurobois in the modern exhibition center of Lion: the Forestry equipment area is the big news of this year. Sponsored and managed by Fibra, the French Federation of Rhône-Alpes for forestry, the first edition will be attracting all protagonists in the forestry business. This new section will have a special area, Hall 4, dedicated to machines, tools and technologies for forestry, logistics and machines for first processing.
The forestry activity in France, becoming more and more mechanized, is a topical issue offering excellent business opportunities across the supply chain.
