The 22nd edition of Xylexpo, the biennial international exhibition of woodworking technology and furniture industry supplies, will be held in May 4-8 in the Milan Exhibition Center in Rho.
THE PROMOTION CAMPAIGN
During these days the guidelines of the new edition have been defined. First of all there will be a strong promotion campaign which will not only focus on the press and technical magazines at global level (featuring two different stages (for the exhibitors and, later, for visitors), but that will also directly involve opinion leaders and decision makers so that all the industry protagonists will be in Milan in eighteen months.
INNOVATION AND FURNITURE INDUSTRY SUPPLIES
In the spotlight – today more than ever – there will be the characterizing element of Xylexpo: innovation. The event will gather the most advanced technology solutions and the most innovative materials and components. There will be a strong presence of companies providing furniture supplies and semi-finished products, confirming that the project launched during 2008 edition will be fully completed starting from 2010 – as already announced.
Specific initiatives will be organized – already from January 2009 – to support the nomination of Xylexpo as great international event where technologies will be put together with supplies, an industry where a “turmoil” of the reference exhibition scenario has been recorded. This element, combined with the strong internationality of the event provides Xylexpo with the ideal conditions to ensure visibility and the presence of quality operators for companies looking for new opportunities on global markets.
OVER 80 THOUSAND VISITORS AND 900 EXHIBITORS ARE EXPECTED
Xylexpo 2010 has set off boosted by the results of 2008 edition, which recorded 81.980 operators, 51.8 percent of which coming from foreign countries, and 853 exhibitors, the absolute record of the exhibition, over an exhibition surface of more than 75,000 sqm.
