China: furniture producers intensifies their activities on internal market

Cnfa (China national furniture association) announced that in 2008 furniture production value in China increased by 11,1 percent, even if the quantity produced increased by only 1,9 percent.
Export increased by 22 percent in value, but decreased by 11 percent in quantity.
According to Cnfa, because of the global crisis, many Chinese furniture producers are beginning to intensify their activities on internal market.
