Thonet photo competition: and the winner is…

Thonet photo competition “214 x 214: a chair the world over” ended. The decision of the jury was not easy: more than 300 images from 19 countries had to be judged and brought into a sequence. Remarkable is the variety and the quality of the submissions, also the stories behind are very exciting and emotional. For this reason the jury has decided to honor 16 additional images to the 20 winners with a special mention.
The jury assigned the first prize to the picture presented by two architects from Berlin, Martin and Christa Schönherr: the pictures represents a grandfathers seated on a number 14 Thonet in front of his nephew seated on a 14 K Thonet for babies.
