Germany: steady turnover for upholstered products

The German Institute for Statistics has shown a reduction of 13.5 percent of turnover for the upholstered products in Germany. By the way, according to the leaders of the sector, this does not correspond to reality. The reduction, in fact, was caused by the passage of 10 companies from the upholstered compartment to another compartment. The turnover of 2010 should therefore be unchanged. The acquisition of orders decreased slightly (-0.6 percent in total, of which -1 percent domestic market and +0.6 percent foreign market).
