Success for I Saloni in Milan: 321,320 visitors in total, of which 282,483 operators, an increase of 2 percent compared to 2009, when it was held the previous edition of Euroluce. 177,964 foreign operators accounted for 63 percent of total admissions. This success is not only quantitative, as evidenced by the great satisfaction of the exhibitors for the high quality of the operators and especially with the increase of foreigners who visited the exhibition halls. A quality that represents an opportunity for participating companies to meet specific business partners and develop real business and at the same time confirms the global leadership of I Saloni in Milan.
A “birthday” celebrated with a special edition of the highly successful and important numbers. In addition to the expert community, I Saloni 2011 were attended by 32,870 visitors on Sundays and 5,857 media operators of which 5,313 were journalists from around the world.
“We are very pleased with the work we have done for this 50th edition of I Saloni,” said the chairman of Cosmit, Carlo Guglielmi. “The results we are now reaping the reward commitment and dedication of 50 years of work. But we do not want to stop here and not simply a celebration of the past: today’s numbers are an incentive to look to the future and the future editions of the event. We are aware that major challenges lie ahead, the first of what will lead us to deal more with the idea of “quality”. It is a challenge, which involves the exhibiting companies but also touches us as an organization. We must be prepared to face the same spirit and with the same desire to do that we have proved in the past 50 years. ”
