Roberto Snaidero has been designated by FederlegnoArredo Committee, with 46 votes on 63 eligible, for the presidency of the federation for the next three years. The appointment will be ratified during the annual Assembly scheduled next June 6.
Snaidero takes back the “witness” who had left in 2008 to Rosario Messina, in a sign of continuity of work and goals on projects involving international promotion through business missions to countries emerging that can put a definite advantage to businesses. Research into new foreign markets for developing business opportunities for companies and institutions on lobbying the Italian government to support companies across the supply chain.
“I took up an important witness − says Roberto Snaidero – in a delicate time for the Federation, to give continuity to the work done up to now by the presidency of Rosario Messina, a close friend, who in the past three years has given an indelible contribution to the impulse of FederlegnoArredo activities. The representation of the chain is our ultimate goal and that is why we must continue working to grow even more and be even closer to the needs of the members of the Federation in all regions and in all districts, supporting them with strategic actions and activities that are functional to develop new business opportunities in a changing market“.
Well settled also the harmony between Roberto Snaidero with Carlo Guglielmi, president of Cosmit, with whom he is ready to work on major projects related to I Saloni exhibition of Milan and other exhibitions abroad.
Roberto Snaidero was born in 1948 in Majano, Udine. Married, three children, graduated in economics at the University of Trieste. He was former president of FederlegnoArredo until 2008, continuing at the end of the office, as a member of the Boards of Cosmit and FederlegnoArredo where in recent years has represented the Federation on the internationalization issue.
