Results of Fimma Maderalia Valencia

On 28 October 2011 came to a close the edition of Fimma, the international exhibition for woodworking machinery and tools  and Maderalia, the event dedicated to the furniture for the wood industry and furniture.
Our feeling is that the event could not do more but reflecting accurately an increasingly difficult economic situation.
We think that the official press release issued by the organizers, just received, is a confirmation, since there is no numerical data about the visitors. Here is the initial part of the press release.

The results of this year’s fair, as assessed by the professionals from the sectors involved in working with wood, are distinctly positive. Whilst the opinions canvassed refer to the inevitable repercussions that the current economic situation has had on manufacturing sectors in general, all underscored that Fimma-Maderalia is useful and the right place to be if you are looking for new ideas and markets that can be a business’s way out of the crisis.

Fimma-Maderalia was thus a breath of fresh air for exhibitors in that it yielded new and prospective customers – both Spanish and, above all, from the international marketplace – keen to progress their business by making use of the latest technology and the most novel products the market has to offer”.
