Scm Group and "Salone del Mobile" (Milan furniture show)

Today manufacturing technology means working in close connection with designers, architects and engineers, because the ultimate goal of technology is to design new ideas and in a simple way.  Design and technology come together with Scm Group, Riva 1920 and San Patrignano, at the Salone del mobile, in Milan next April 17-22.
Work of art on show created by famous architects like Matteo Thun, Mario Botta, Karim Rashid, Philippe Starck, Claudio Bellini e Alessandro Mendini and made ​with cnc working centre, in collaboration with Riva 1920, Pininfarina and SanPatrignano.
The “Briccole” made by Riva 1920, are oak wood poles used in the lagoon of Venice, created by famous designers and transformed into masterpieces thanks to Scm Group technology.
The “Cambiano”, a luxury sports car by Pininfarina with interiors created ​​with recycled wood from the “briccole” and transformed by the company Riva 1920 thanks to Scm Group technology.
By ‘learning by doing’, young people of San Patrignano discover the art of carpentry equipped with Scm Group solutions. From “interior design” to “design made around people”.
