Talk show Xylon at Xylexpo: Wood packaging

At Xylexpo 2012, on Thursday May 10, 2.30 p.m., Lem 2, Ponte dei Mari Est, will be held the talk show “Wood packaging: which way to go for real technology innovation?”
Organized by Xylon, Assoimballaggi/FederlegnoArredo and Conlegno.

Moderator will be Sebastiano Cerullo, Wood Division Manager, FederlegnoArredo.

The production process is a variable of great importance, especially for an apparently simple product with a short lifecycle. It is vital to produce packaging meeting specific requirements at affordable costs. It is also essential to look for solutions that – thanks to technology contribution – can set new standards and, why not, new products as well. A discussion between packaging manufacturers and technology providers that has to be leveraged to spread common knowledge and the will for closer cooperation. Without forgetting “Ispm 15” regulations that set new standards and behaviors that the packaging industry has to understand and implement.
