The 514 exhibitors attending Xylexpo 2012 (updated at 3 May 2012) are ready to seize all the opportunities offered by the biennial international exhibition of woodworking technology and furniture industry supplies, to be held next Tuesday 8 to Saturday 12 May. 35 percent will come from abroad, with European Community (Germany on top), China and Turkey in the forefront. Preparations and recent contacts with organizers, a few weeks before the opening, clearly indicate that the 32 thousand square meter net surface will be a showcase of innovative as well as “smart” solutions, giving tangible answers to a business season characterized by significant economic and structural changes.
Xylexpo will effectively show that there are possible answers, represented by more performing and less energy-hungry machines, technology that can integrate several operations into one production cycle, all to the benefit of users. Equipment manufactured with great attention to the composition of parts and aggregates, so as to generate scale economies that enable companies to give more at a lower price. So, an exhibition of answers and tangible solutions.
We remind you that Xylexpo – the only Italian exhibition supported by Eumabois, the European federation of wood technology manufacturers, and by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development – will cover four halls of the ultramodern exhibition center Fieramilano-Rho. Panel processing machines and technology will be exhibited in Halls 1 and 3; Hall 2 will feature solid wood machining solutions; Hall 4 is dedicated to suppliers and primary operation equipment and solutions.
Positive expectations also for visitors: pre-registrations collected until 10 April 2012 through the www.xylexpo.com website are similar to the levels achieved two years ago, suggesting that 50 thousand visitors are coming to Milan, just like in 2010.
Among several “service” news, this year we are launching the “MatchMaking” platform, a tool to help visitors plan their meetings with exhibitors; an easy and quick way to build your agenda during the exhibition, in order to make the most of your time spent among the booths. Matchmaking will be promoted through the information that visitors provide during their pre-registration on www.xylexpo.com.
Please notice that the high-speed trains “Frecciarossa”, travelling between Rome and Turin, and “Frecciabianca” (Trieste-Turin) will make special stops at the Rho Fiera Milano train station next to the Xylexpo halls.
Xylexpo 2012 will be held during Tew-Technology Exhibition Week, featuring the most important technology shows including Plast (the international exhibition for plastics and rubber industries), Fluidtrans Compomac (the biennial international exhibition for fluid power technology and mechatronics) and Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control (the international biennial exhibition for mechanical power transmissions, motion control and mechatronics that will end on May 11).
