The new furniture collections made with “Ecomalta” by Presotto

Presotto (www.presottoitalia.it) experiments and approaches new materials for the world of furnishings and interior design.
The new material in 2012 is called “Ecomalta™” by Oltremateria®. A highly poor element, the mortar is applied on furniture and takes strength, flexibility and versatility of application thanks to a special process that allows application in a very low thickness (1-3 mm). “Ecomalta™” is a totally natural material, cement and epoxy resins free, produced totally water-based with natural materials such as recycled glass.
It is hand applied for six times on doors and surfaces. The final effect is perfectly uniform and kept to the smallest detail. “Ecomalta™” is environmentally friendly, breathable, hygienic, fire resistant to stains, heat, easily cleanable and restorable.

“Modul Art” is the system for the living zone by Presotto: cube and rectangular are the primary and essential shapes to build endless combinations.
The 2012 collection is made with “Ecomalta™” and is characterized by the color combination that matches the raw and industrial gray to the orange-mango. The result is a habitat refined and, as a tradition, enriched by the technology “made in Presotto”.
