Three Chinese websites obscured

From reports made in December last year by Indicam, the Italian association against counterfeiting, it was found that the websites www.1hogan.com, www.guccioutlet-italy.org and www.pradaborselinea.com were spreading incorrect information about the characteristics of the products for sale as presented to Italian consumers the opportunity to buy online original products made by Hogan, Gucci and Prada. On 23 January 2013, antitrust approved the adoption of precautionary measures, with the assistance of financial police, with the black out of said websites.
The reports showed that the information contained on such sites were likely to deceive consumers to take a transactional decision that might not otherwise have taken. In fact, the products advertised as Hogan, Gucci and Prada were, in fact, counterfeit.
