Giplast Group and Flexibord join forces

Giplast Group and Flexibord, two of the most important companies on the edgebanding market in Italy, join their forces in order to give solidity and strength to the Italian furniture industry, with more than 25 million of turnover, 2.5 million of Ebitda and 140 employees.

A new era is starting with this important fusion. Two styling and new colours research Centers, the product knowledge, the work experience and the productive capacity will be a superb addition to the already known good reputation of these two great companies.
What’s the goal behind all of this?
The aim of the two owners is to give the best customer service ever, improving the customer relationship through a strong ability to compete on the market.
But let’s talk to the captains of this amazing adventure: Giuseppe Marozzi, Giplast Group’s owner since 1977, and Stefano Bianchi, Flexibord’s Ceo.
The idea of the fusion with Flexibord has came almost 2 years ago but in the last 2 months we have decided to make it real” says Marozzi. “ I strongly believe that the Italian companies have a pronounced capacity to increase the value and make good business, but they need to do a broad jump if they want to ride over this bad international economic crisis and come back to grow up in the market”.
These are the reasons why I asked to Flexibord’s owner to cooperate on the creation of a strong company together. I think Mr. Bianchi is an outstanding businessman because he was able to see the importance of this project making available his company resources in order to fulfill the project we had in mind”.
The project organized by both properties is divided in two steps: the first step is about the cooperation between Flexibord and Giplast Group, and gradually the complete management will be on Giplast Group’s hands.
