Marmomacc in Verona

Full house today at the Triennale in Milan for the presentation of Marmomacc (September 25 to 28, Verona, finally not closely overlap with Cersaie). Over a hundred journalists and architects, Ettore Riello (President Fiera Verona), and Davenport Colonnetti sparkling and optimistic (after the collapse of three years ago the industry, “marble & related” recapture market share, especially abroad), many initiatives “collateral” but the entire system of the fair (expected more than 1,400 exhibitors, 605 foreigners, and 60,000 visitors) is marked by a common thread: to bring the designers at the fair, along with the registered companies, and set the ‘foreign’ in Verona. This is the real “imperative” for the event now in its 48th edition. Fair very technical, full of machines and technologies, tools, abrasives and chemicals but with the Hall 7B entirely dedicated to design and architecture. Worthy of note is the “smooth stone”, where a dozen young people under 30, also from unusual areas (film maker, for example, as well as “classic” graduates from IED) propose using unusual stone contamination with graphics and multimedia.
