Dach+Holz, the appointment for the world of the craftsmen of builders carpentry and roofing will be from Tuesday 18 to Friday 21 February 2014, for the second time at the Cologne exhibition center. The biennial exhibition, which alternates years between Cologne and Stuttgart, is one of the key events in the circuit of fairs in construction and workmanship of wood, roofs and walls, managed by GHM, a subsidiary of Messe München International.
Today in Milan it was held the press launch at Restaurant Don Lisander in Via Manzoni. Present at the meeting Patrik Hof, Head of PR and communications of GHM and David Galli, general manager of Monacofiere.
Present also the architect Fabrizio Rossi Prodi of Rossiprodi Associates who illustrated the interesting social housing project of Via Cenni, in the San Siro district of Milan, which provides X-Lam constructive wood panels systems. We will discuss indetail about this in the next issue of our magazine.
As regards to the exhibition, in the four pavilions provided at the Deutz district of Cologne, German and international exhibitors will present their latest innovations for wooden buildings, roofs, facades, restoration, metal processing, as well as renewable energy and thermal insulation. More than 300 exhibitors already signed up.
The last edition (in 2012 in Stuttgart), was attended, on a gross floor area of 70 thousand square meters, with 606 exhibitors from 26 countries and 55,800 trade visitors (increased by 21.8 percent compared to 2010).
Italy is at the third place in the ranking both for the presence of exhibitors and visitors.
The exhibition of machines, materials and tools will be accompanied by a rich program of conferences and seminars. During the four days are scheduled, for example, a forum on the facades ventilation space, a conference on architecture and one day for residential building.
