The “ServiceApp” from Homag Group

The new “ServiceApp” from Homag Group connects Homag machine owners quickly and easily with the responsible contact in Service. All new machinery is equipped with a unique QR-Code on the control panel; and then a Smartphone does the rest.

Simply scan the QR-Code on the machine with the Homag Group “ServiceApp”. Immediately the machine, including the machine number, is identified by the “ServiceApp and displayed on the phone. The customer then decides if he would like to contact Technical Support, Parts, or Field Service Representatives. The method of communication can also be chosen: either to immediately dial the number of the right service expert or to send an email to the contact person in charge. The result is always the same: immediate assistance from qualified specialists.
The “ServiceApp” can be downloaded via Smartphone from the Apple App store or Google Play store. For machines that have been delivered in the past without the QR-Code, owners can easily generate a code on the Homag Group homepage and attach the code to their machine.
This can be done in three short steps: visit www.homag-group.com/qr ; enter the 10 digit machine serial number; print the code returned and display it on the control unit of the machine.
