Holz Basel

Holz Basel (www.holz.ch) is taking place this year from 8 to 12 October, at the Basel fairgrounds, Switzerland.
This fair attracts every year more than 35 thousand visitors including joiners, carpenters and commercial and industrial representatives, and it can without doubt considered as the most important meeting point for the “wood processing” industry throughout Switzerland.
Focus are issues such as roofing systems, acoustic and thermal insulation, solar cells and energy of the wood. This year the fair has two additional themes: “wood construction, energy and sustainability” and “Future of the wood.”
Attention will be given on innovations related to the timber industry, for example from the point of view of materials, engineering and construction, topics that can be also discussed in a dedicated area.
