The new edition of the report Csil

With 410 million inhabitants, Western Europe represents a quarter of the world market of furniture, with a total value of furniture consumption at production prices of around € 73 billion. Levels of furniture consumption per capita is on average the highest in the world (along with North America) and more than four times higher than those countries that show a lower-middle income.
As for the production of furniture Western Europe accounts for 20 percent of world production, followed by North America and the countries of Pacific Asia.
The role of Western Europe in the global context increases further if we look at the international trade of furniture: with more than 40 percent of imports and about 30 percent of exports
of furniture in the world.

In about a thousand pages the report provides an overview of the furniture market by country by analyzing the demand, supply, international trade and the major players.
