Ikea Foundation campaign
to support children’s education
Thanks to its annual soft toys campaign, Ikea Foundation supports education projects for Save the Children to ensure that every child a quality education.
It is starting the annual Ikea campaign in support of education that this year will fund education projects of Save the Children. From 1 November 2013 to 6 January 2014, for every soft toy or children’s book sold in Ikea, Ikea Foundation donates one euro to educational programs.
The soft toys campaign aims to provide quality education to children living in poverty in the developing world. Since 2003, when this campaing started, donations from this initiative made by Ikea for Save the Children and Unicef amounted to 57 millions euro, which has enabled more than 10 million children in 46 countries to take advantage of their right to access to a quality education.
