Scm Group: "Technology Days" for doors and windows

It will be an excellent opportunity to examine the technologies for the business – undoubtedly one of the application sectors for woodworking machinery that the Scm Group has always firmly believed and invested in, gaining considerable process experience and top level technological know-how.

The “Technology Days” offer small, medium and large companies an important opportunity to interact with the “door and window specialists”, where they can see at close hand all the group’s solutions for any door and window manufacturing requirement.

 

THE TECHNOLOGIES

The focus will be on the Cnc machining centres of the Scm “Accord” range – a solution increasingly valued and appreciated by the market for its reliability and high productivity. During the three days in Rimini, the new “Accord 25 FX” machining centre with its 5-axis technology and excellent cost/performance ratio will be unveiled.

The “Accord FX” machining centres with automatic table, and the “Accord FX-M” machining centres with a multi-function table, will demonstrate the powerful versatility of this range which has been designed to produce door and window frames, doors, stairs and solid wood elements in general with the maximum precision and finish quality.

To see how easy it is to programme all the Scm Group machining centres, ample time and attention will be devoted to the “Xilog Maestro” and “Maestro WD” software module created specifically for doors and windows.

Handling high production volumes in the simplest possible way whilst at the same time guaranteeing flexible and customised job orders: the “Accord WD” and “Integra” work cells, which will be covered in great detail, are the intelligent response to this need.

Important innovations in the group’s calibrating/sanding machines will also be on show, with the presentation of the new Scm “Sandya 900”, as well as demos of the entire process of calibrating, sanding, brushing and finishing the door or window together with the top of the range, DMC “System”.

The new Sergiani “GS6/100”, with its superior features and advantages for this market segment, will also be presented in Rimini; this press is suitable for a wide range of applications including the manufacturing of hollow core doors and the coating of doors and panels.
