2014 concludes with a more than positive evaluation for Salvador, a company specialized in the production of optimizing saws for wood. And not only due to the prestigious first place in the “Communication category” at the Xia-Xylexpo Innovation Awards, but also to the continuous consolidation of the brand in many international markets. Visibility and a commercial commitment have not failed to repay the company in this year that draws to a close. In fact, in the past twelve months Salvador has registered a two-figure turnover growth compared with 2013.

A CONTINUOUS PRESENCE
One of Salvador’s selling points is undoubtedly its direct presence (or at the stands of our specific partners) at many industry trade fairs around the world, occasions in which the company had the possibility not only to present its machines and technologies, but also to consolidate its commercial relationships and to evaluate each new possibility. In the second half of 2014 alone the “Supercut 500”, “Superangle 600”, “Superpush 200” and the new series of “Classic” crosscutting saws”, dedicated to the world of craftsmanship and of the small and medium enterprises, have been exhibited in Sao Paolo (Brazil), Bucharest (Romania), Poznan (Poland), Minsk (Byelorussia), Birmingham (United Kingdom), ‘s-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands).

The uninterrupted and intense relationship with the clients and the attention paid to their needs constitute permanent incentives towards “motivated” product innovation. For instance, a few weeks ago one of our Dutch clients installed a “Superpush 250” with a new system for loading (with chains and independent cells) and unloading with single pusher, a solution that proves its potential and extreme flexibility: the loading and unloading conveyor allows operation at maximum speed with any wood essence, working single boards or packs of large dimensions from raw wood or moulded and prefinished profiles (to see the machine in action access: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mfU6UJRN9U4&list=UUHHNogowMZaaMpppNWSogtA).
The latest product from Salvador is the “Classic 60”, a solution that completes the range of semi-automatic crosscutting saws, designed and produced so as to meet the needs of the small companies which produce batches of a few pieces, but which need to process big sections (up to 420×150, 520×100 or 590×50 mm). Its entire structure is in varnished hard steel of high thickness and it is a heavy duty machine with galvanized idle rollers and a load capacity of 600 kg. Ideal for heavy duty, for the safe processing of heavy elements, thanks to the cutting commands that require the intervention of the operator’s both hands.
