Ciff (China international furniture fair)

From 8-12 September 2015 will take place Ciff (China International furniture fair) .
Ciff was established in 1998 and has been successfully held for 35 sessions. As the world’s biggest furniture fair, the scale of Ciff this year will total 1.08 million sqm. Ciff September session will transfer to National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai. In the future, Ciff will be held in Pazhou, Guangzhou in March and in Hongqiao, Shanghai in September, creating a completely new layout with fantastic furniture fair in two mega cities.
Ciff Shanghai will be located at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (Necc). It is the world’s largest single-block architecture, covering a total construction space of 1.47 million sqm, which is the size of 206 standard football courts. It has an indoor exhibition space of 400,000 sqm and an outdoor exhibition space of 100,000 sqm. Regarding the total exhibition space, it ranks the second in the world. Necc enjoys advanced geographical location. It is close to the airport, high-speed train station, as well as highway network. There are shuttle buses connecting the venue with city centre. So the traffic is very convenient.
The organizer of Ciff and the owner of Necc belong to the same group. This helps create an integrated service system.
So the exhibition and the venue are like left hand and right hand, forming a synergy to provide fantastic and comfortable services for furniture professionals.
Expected attendance is over 100,000 industry professionals and approximately 3,000 global exhibitiors.
Last year China’s Gdp totalled 10.4 trillion Usd, up by 7.4 percent. The 770 billion Usd increase of Gdp is equal to a medium size economy. According to Imf, China’s Gdp growth in 2014 contributed to 30 percent of the world’s economic growth. According to the Chinese government statistics, China produces 25 percent of the world’s furniture, making it the largest furniture producer around the globe. It is anticipated that the total output value of China’s furniture sector in 2015 will reach 400 billion Usd.
A large economy contains a large market. A large industry generates large exhibitions. In the era full of opportunities, Ciff raised a brand new strategic concept: starting from 2015.
