Salvador in Poland will receive the Mtp Gold Metal Competition

During the next Drema, to be held in Poznan from 6 to 9 October 2015, Salvador will receive the prestigious award given annually to companies that stand out for their ability to innovate.

Christian Salvador has no doubts: “Poland has changed incredibly in the last twenty years. A political, social, economic and human transformation which we have seen not only as technology suppliers, but by experiencing it personally, witnessing the continuous and rapid evolutions….”.
A market in which Salvador has always been active, however, in the last decade, it had undoubtedly been one of the Italian Company’s export strengths.
A strong proximity, an assiduous frequency to propose a technology – that of wood cutting and optimization – which is one of the first steps towards a more effective and efficient production in a rapidly evolving sector.
Since 2005, Christian Salvador spends at least five or six weeks in this country; a choice born from the decision that this fertile land could be worked in order to obtain excellent harvests.
Hence, it is important to realize from the beginning that it is essential to build a more solid presence, capable of providing precise and quick answers on both a commercial and technical level, to provide after sales support. And this means being present, as much as or even more than in other markets where Salvador has established its own exports.

A lot of wood is being worked in Poland. The general economic situation, although with alternating trends in recent years, is continuously growing. Here, wood is being sliced, sanded, drilled and cut. Production is achieved in two or three shifts that need simple, fast, reliable and low-maintenance machines,” says Christian Salvador.
Around here, large volumes are still being produced and there are still important orders which need good and quick responses. Using a Salvador today means to greatly reduce waste, to decrease the need for labor by more than 60 percent, to improve the information flow, to be able to resort to non-specialized operators who need to follow a few simple rules, also due to specific software that make the entire cycle extremely “friendly” and easy to manage, always with maximum safety. These are values that are important in Poland as well.
It is no coincidence that Salvador won the MTP Gold Metal Competition this year, a recognition that a jury of experts awards to companies exhibiting at Drema, also applying for the innovation, creativity and reliability heritage, which they are always able to express. The award, which will be presented to the winners at a ceremony taking place during the exhibition, is the culmination of ten years of commitment and seriousness.

A long and sometimes winding road, but always traveled with great enthusiasm, even when the first experiences  make you realize that you need to find a partner as good as the results you want to achieve: hence the crucial meeting with Teknika and with its creator/founder/owner, Claudio Tornati. It was not just love at first sight, but a relationship to be built, which brought Salvador and Teknika to know and understand each other, to move in unison: in 2005, this new chapter begun, and in 2006 the first Drema was held.
A relationship that is being consolidated, a valuable “operational base”, readily available technicians and spare parts, so as to solve any possible problems.

Poland is a great country with its own traditions and ways, a country that cannot be “seen from a distance”, a country that needs to be lived in and shared. Salvador has invested resources, time and energy here in order to prove its own competence and professionalism, but also – and foremost – a lot of passion and curiosity and a tremendous desire to understand what the Polish companies need, how they prefer to conduct a process, what their priorities are.
This led to visits, meetings and events – people who know and appreciate each other not only for what they do but also for what they are.

The managerial skills, travelling and investing are not enough to “be present in a market”, concludes Christian Salvador. “I always thought, believed and wished that each machine sold, each offer and each technology “made in Salvador” would arrive in Poland not from a little known Italian company, but from a person with whom they have talked, discussed, tested, understood…”.

An ideal machine for a season when production needs to be increased and costs need to be seen in a new way by minimizing waste.  The cutting and optimization Salvador proposes is a discovery that seduces and convinces many Polish operators who bring solid machines in their companies, with intuitive, simple but “intelligent” software. Today, there are many Salvador machines installed in Poland, a number that puts the Italian company in an undisputed leadership position, boasting a portfolio that sees small businesses on the side of the country’s largest industrial giants, who have chosen Salvador to produce sofas, pallets, furniture, flooring; to build wooden houses or outdoor furniture, to work in the sawmill… Today, optimization in Poland means Salvador. And, at the next Drema, this story, this long and successful partnership can only renew itself…
