Inauguration of Wood Technology Centre in Poschiavo

In recent days has been inaugurated the Wood Technology Centre in Poschiavo (www.centec.ch/). Scm Group is one of the founders of the project and the exclusive supplier of technology for woodworking. The Ctl born as a center for training of professionals, carpenters and companies of the Poschiavo Valley, Southern Graubunden, Valtellina and Lombardy.
In an area always devoted to the processing and knowledge of wood kicks off this training project, in public-private partnership (co-founded the Region Puschlav, IBW-Institute for Training of southeastern Switzerland, the Province of Sondrio by Pool of innovation of the Province of Sondrio, Politec and Scm Group), with the aim of bringing together all stakeholders of the wood in order to offer a training program of quality oriented to the current needs and industry trends.
The Wood Technology Centre is housed in a completely renovated building in Poschiavo where study spaces are organized, with large classrooms for courses and working, with the technological laboratory made by Scm Group. A real high-level workshop, where are operating the machining center cnc “Accord 40”, a sander, a circular saw, a vertical panel saw and a planer thickness.
