Koelnmesse acquires Feria M&M Bogotà

Signed over the past few weeks the joint venture that led to the acquisition of more than 50 percent of the Mueble & Madera fair in Bogota, Colombia, by Koelnmesse Gmbh. An agreement that declines the birth of a strong reference point for the furniture industry in the Andean Region.

Starting from 2018, Koelnmesse will be the reference partner in the M&M-Mueble & Madera organization, the biennial event held in Bogotá, Colombia’s capital. With this move, the German trade fair takes a new step on the fairs of the furniture industry.

The agreement – signed with Corferias, the most important company involved in organizing events in that part of South America – will further develop the Colombian trade fair event, making it the most important showcase in the Andes region with regard to furniture production, interior design and the transformation of wood raw material.

Next appointment will be at the 14th Feria M&M, scheduled from 6 to 9 March 2018.
