I Saloni Worldwide.Moscow

24/09/2017

The 13th edition of the Saloni WorldWide Moscow will be held at Moscow’s Crocus Expo exhibition centre from 11 to 14 October 2017, proving yet again to be the leading high quality furnishing and accessories specialist exhibition held in Russia. The event is organised by Federlegno Arredo Eventi in partnership with ICE – the Italian Trade Agency.

The past edition of the Saloni WorldWide Moscow notched up more than 30,000 attendees, and 300 participating companies – 22% of which come from Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain and the US – located in more than 10,000 square metres of exhibition space – showcasing the very best from last April’s Salone del Mobile.Milano – who see the event as an unmissable opportunity to gain a foothold in the Russian and post-Soviet markets, increasingly interested in high-end classic, designer and luxury pieces.

Meetings between professional operators and exhibiting countries were both numerous and profitable, confirming the event’s driving role in Russia and the former Soviet Republics. Positive signals have been relayed by the 110 delegates invited by ICE from 18 cities in Russia and Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, who have placed a large number of orders, ensuing from the 2,500 appointments arranged over the four days of the Saloni.

Russia is still the leading developing market for Italian furnishing and will retain pole position as far as imports of high end furnishing are concerned.

It was also the 12th edition of the SaloneSatellite WorldWide Moscow, in which 44 young designers from Russia and the former Soviet Republics were involved. The award winners have been invited to the SaloneSatellite in Milan, which was held under the umbrella of the Salone del Mobile.Milano from 4th to 9th April 2017.

The three Master Classes, providing an opportunity for reflection and discussion on design-related issues, featured three of the architects from the 11 architectural practices that took part in the great ROOMS. Novel Living Concepts exhibition organised by the Salone del Mobile.Milano in 2016 as part of the XXI International Triennale Exhibition in Milan: Duilio Forte, Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering, and Francesco Librizzi.

This year also marked the third edition of MADE expo WorldWide, the event devoted to interior architecture, involving a number of leading Italian door and surface sector companies.
