Sicam 2020 cancelled: goodbye to 2021

Sicam, the international trade fair for components, technology products and accessories for the furniture industry, has chosen to cancel the event organized between 13 and 16 October in Pordenone, postponing the appointment directly to 2021 (12-15 October). A decision dictated by the “Covid-19” emergency that put a strain on the organization of events.

Unfortunately, during these months there has been a complete absence at all legislative levels in the exhibition field in drawing up clear rules and protocols, which in an already very complex moment makes it impossible to organize a profitable event for exhibitors and visitors”, said the organizers directly on their official website about motivations of this postponement.

A clear and difficult choice that wanted to “keep the current fair calendar unchanged” and that closes Sicam’s 2020 in advance. Pending better times, all that remains is to take note of the decision and observe the results of this emergency day by day.
