Raute Corporation: half-year report

The data relating to the results of the first half of Raute Corporation, the well-known manufacturer of technologies for veneer, plywood and laminated veneer have recently been disclosed.

The group’s net sales, 60.2 million euros (in 2020 were 48.2 million euros), increased 25 percent on the comparison period. Order intake was 95 million euros (2020: 38 million euros). Operating profit amounted to minus 3.5 million euros (2020: minus 4.0 million euros), up 13 percent on the comparison period. The result before taxes was minus 3.1 million euros (minus 3.6 million euros).
Earnings per share were minus 0.64 euro(2020: minus 0.73).
Net sales in the second quarter were 35.5 million euros and operating profit was minus 1.0 million euros. Order intake in the second quarter was 65 million euros. The order book at the end of the reporting period stood at 129 million euros.
