Ima Schelling launches “Aimi” software

11/07/2022

Ima Schelling, the well-known company, introduces comprehensive software aimi for offering uniform user experience. Regardless of working with a saw, edger or drill, the user experience should always be the same. That was the goal of the engineers and It specialists at Ima Schelling when developing the new cross-departmental software architecture “aimi” (Artifactural Intelligence meets Machine Intelligence).

The software is divided into three function modules: “aimi.Do” is used on the machine control, offers an overview of the production chain and provides an intuitive user interface. “aimi.Talk” manages and transfers data that is managed in upstream systems such as the Erp and flows into the machines via interfaces. “aimi.Think“, in turn, offers a cross-plant view of all machines and processes and recognizes the production progress of the components. All modules communicate in encrypted form and are protected against unauthorized access.

Data security, simple, intuitive usability and thus the possibility of faster familiarization: these are the advantages of “aimi”. The software is now being implemented bit by bit, numerous interfaces ensure that all customers benefit from the new solution.
