Blum sells Russian subsidiary

13/09/2022

Blum, the well-known Austrian manufacturer of semi-finished products, has decided to sell its Russian subsidiary in Moscow. The confirmation came directly from the managing director of the Austrian giant, Philipp Blum. A clear decision that follows what has already been done in recent months (Blum stopped its deliveries to Russia immediately after the invasion of Ukraine).

Blum will sell its subsidiary in Russia to two long-standing business partners, who have promised to take on all of the approximately 60 employees at the location founded in 1997“, said Philipp Blum. “This is important as all employees on site will continue to have professional prospects and a secure livelihood”.
