Comec and Camam: solutions and innovation

21/09/2022

This year’s Xylexpo exhibition will once again be an important showcase for Comec Group and Camam to present the latest developments. In the foreground there will be the “Md Jamb 11X Ca3l” working centre, globally recognised as a solution at the highest technological level for door jambs production. It is offered in its version with automatic loading and unloading, also for ‘batch one’ machining, and advanced software, capable of receiving information directly from Erp systems and auto-generating the specific optimised work programme piece by piece. This solution was specially developed by the engineers of our Software Automation team, in order to meet the needs of a market increasingly oriented towards versatility through ‘just in time’ production systems.

The “Fronta”’ series multi-process and multi-station cnc working centres will be represented by our “Frontal Cn 1500 2s” machine, which will be set up in the configuration for drilling/milling drawer’s fronts and elements.  The modular construction of this machine category allows customisation according to customer requirements, drawing from an infinite range of options for cutting, drilling, milling, tenoning and insertion. The machines of the “Frontal” series are therefore a customised, high-productivity, high-tech solution, dedicated to the machining of long-shaped elements made of solid wood, mdf, chipboard, etc.

Camam, a historic company that has been designing, developing and manufacturing special machines since 1969 and has been an integral part of Comec Group for more than 15 years, is dedicated to the production of cutting, milling, sanding and automatic assembly systems, as well as machines for the production of chairs, for which it has always been a reference company due to its know-how, with thousands of machines delivered worldwide.

At the Xylexpo 2022 exhibition, Camam will show a cutting machine from the “Tac” series, which best represents it most recently. “Tac Cnx” is an nc angular cutting centre with automatic machining from rod, where both the stepping feed and the cutting unit rotation are numerically controlled.
