TWT will be attending Xylexpo 2022 with important news

The partnership between Xylexpo and33.BI-MU, the international biennial fair for machine tools, robotics and automation systems, aims at enhancing to the utmost the visitors’ experience and at creating new business opportunities. “As Dario Corbetta, directorof Xylexpo, has declared” says Filippo Pellitteri, the ceo of TWT, “we are living through times of great change in which we must make new decisions, and indeed TWT will be presenting various new items in Milan”.

In a dedicated section of the stand (Pav. 22, Stand E08), TWT will hold live demonstrations of the elevated speed with which Esperia Innova performs assembly operations. Esperia Innova is a wood-ALU window and door system that stands apart from similar products on the market today thanks to its technical worth, its rational and simple production process and its beauty.
“Esperia Innova” is an original evolution of the Esperia product, developed by TWT’s R&D department to meet the demands of window manufacturers as regards production efficiency, on the one hand, and high window performance and design, on the other.
The demos will be conducted together with the two companies that have partnered in this project, Europrofili and Roverplastik. The aluminum profiles and the assembly accessories, in fact, have been produced and supplied by the Europrofili Group, while Adeglass Plus, the double-sided adhesive tape used in the project, has been developed by Roverplastik.

This will be the occasion for presenting for the first time ever the wooden front door systems “Esperia W0” and “Esperia W9“, developed together with CCE that manufactures and supplies the thresholds (the different numbers indicate the height of the threshold in millimeters). These new front doors offer excellent performance not only as regards air, water and wind tightness but also in terms of security, giving carpenters the chance to offer a design alternative to classical armoured doors.

Among the new products, “Laser.HP” (High Performance) stands out for being an innovative high speed tool capable of meeting the needs of the most recent processing centers.Each technical detail of Laser.HP has been carefully designed to offer the highest standards of productivity, finish and durability.

“Laser.HP” offers a fastening system with fast cutting speed that ensures longer insert life thanks to its innovative cutting geometries and an improved chip and dust clearance system. Setup times are shorter thanks to the axial and radial self-positioning mechanism of the inserts. Even maintenance has been reduced thanks to the intelligent simplification of screw systems, cutting edges and total accessibility to all interchangeable inserts.The longer life of the cutting edges provides for longer production cycles and less machine downtime.

Another product designed specifically for high speed performance is “Foil Rs”, the multipurpose cylindrical insert covered by a European patent. “Foil Rs” is a new kind of cylindrical insert made of Widia. It is assembled in radial frontal position and can replace up to three different processing applications carried out using traditional inserts (radius knives, groovers and spurs). “Foil Rs” can be used on both of TWT’s high-speed cutting tools, “Laser.S” and “Laser.HP”.
