Häfele: change at the top

A birthday to be celebrated with great news. The Häfele Group – specialized in furniture, construction, electronic locking systems and led lighting – has announced a change at the top. After 20 years at the helm of the company, Sibylle Thierer (current ceo) has decided to hand over the chairmanship of the board to 45-year-old ceo Gregor Riekena.

“With this change at the top, we enter the next century of Häfele with confidence“, said Thierer. Thierer will continue to chair the board of directors. Riekena is only the group’s second ‘non-family’ ceo and started at Häfele in 2011.
