Argo Surface Technologies launched a new Halar coating

28/02/2023

Argos Surface Technologies, specialized in industrial treatments and surface coatings, has launched its new Halar coating to solve the problem of noise caused by metal friction.
For us it is important to ensure, not only efficiency but also and above all safety and comfort“, explained Luca Garone, managing director of the Argos ST office in Origgio (Italy). “Listening to the needs of workers is the key ingredient for us in the production of our coatings“.

Halar is a highly versatile fluoropolymer composed of a special elastomer that is particularly flexible and exceptionally wear-resistant, making it ideal for reducing friction and noise in the use of forklifts. Thanks to its high friction resistance, it helps reduce wear on sophisticated moving components, such as gears or parts of mechanical devices under stress, as well as eliminating vibrations and noise generated by friction between parts.
In addition, its non-slip property-both in dry and wet conditions-makes it suitable for handling slippery loads and protecting them from damage and scratches due to contact with bare forks.
Halar coating is suitable for any type of fork, which can be coated totally or only in specific areas. Different color notches can also be created at predetermined distances to facilitate the forklift operator’s work“.
