2022 closed positively. This is the result based on the export figures of Italian woodworking technology, despite many negative factors related to market complexities, geopolitical crises, soaring energy and raw material prices.

According to the figures published by ISTAT, the industry exported woodworking machinery and plants (tools not included) for a total value of 1,645 million euro, up by 3.9 percent from 2021, with an accelerated trend compared to the previous quarters.

The United States top the ranking of Italian woodworking technology buyers, with 220 million euro and a 34.6 percent increase, followed by France with 155 million (+28.9 percent) and Germany with 129 million (+16.1 percent).
