Egger acquires M+P Umweltdienste

Egger has taken over the recycling company M+P Umweltdienste. With the acquisition of the company, Egger is pursuing its strategic goals of further increasing the percentage of wood used from by-products and recycling and securing the supply of raw materials through backward integration. Current owner Florian Michels will remain on the board and will be responsible for the site in the future along with Egger recycling expert Peter Lattrich (Technology/Production) and Tobias Neumann (Finance/Administration). The company’s 23 employees will be taken over by Egger. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price or further details of the transaction.
