Koelnmesse announces a new biennial event for furniture manufacturers and the interior design industry with interzum forum italy

Interzum forum italy will present a congress format with an accompanying exhibition area specifically designed for Italy and its neighbouring countries, but also for other major European markets. The format will be hosted on 6 and 7 June 2024 at the Fiera di Bergamo exhibition centre in Bergamo, Italy.

The event concept focuses on a rich two-day programme of high-level conferences that will offer insights into the latest trends, most interesting innovations and current market developments,” Koelnmesse explained in the press release presenting the event. The conference format will be accompanied by an exhibition focusing on interzum’s product segments such as offices, upholstery and textile machinery, as well as surfaces and accessories.

interzum 2023 in Cologne demonstrated the importance of being closer to companies by creating opportunities for discussion and providing in-depth analysis of key topics for the industry. Now we are responding to the need for a streamlined, visitor-friendly format in Italy, one of the leading furniture producing countries in Europe. In the years when interzum will not be hosted in Cologne, we will offer industry professionals a mix of a congress with topical, high-level topics and an exhibition section,” explained Thomas Rosolia, Managing Director of Kolenmesse Italia.

The event will take place in even-numbered years starting in June 2024, in synergy with interzum Cologne, which is hosted on a regular basis in odd-numbered years.
