Happy 9th birthday “ShowWood”!

“On 3 October nine years ago we inaugurated our operational headquarters, a building constructed entirely from local timber and energy self-sufficient”. Nine years have passed since “ShowWood“, the eco-sustainable headquarters of Fmmf, the Mise-registered trademark that protects the Florentine forests, guaranteeing the origin of the wood and the environmental virtuosity of the companies that cut it.

A totally green building that uses – for most of its functions – photovoltaic panels for electricity and uses rainwater for its utilities, which is collected through a box on the roof. It is used for members’ meetings and as a base of operations for the secretariat and the timber used to build it is entirely Fmmf branded.
