Cifm/interzum Guangzhou 2024: the numbers

Cifm/interzum guangzhou 2024 concluded in its namesake city after a four-day event that started on 28 March. This year’s event, with the theme ‘Surpass’, “…exceeded expectations in terms of size, international impact and industry involvement, giving a substantial boost to the furniture manufacturing and fabrication sector,” the event organisers commented in their post-event press release.

NUMBERS
Approximately 180 thousand square meters (plus 24.2 percent compared to 2019), 1,586 companies exhibiting products, technologies and applications – covering furniture woodworking machinery, upholstery machinery, hardware accessories, upholstery materials, interior design, wood products and panels, adhesives and more – and 231 international brands. The number of visitors was also on the rise, which – thanks also to the concomitance with Ciff – increased by 30.2 percent compared to 2019, to more than 215,000 (from 178 countries and regions). Foreign participation also increased, with a surge of 63.6 percent.
