S.Kijchai Enterprise: new Siempelkamp plant

New order for Siempelkamp: S.Kijchai Enterprise Public Company, a Thai manufacturer of wood-based panels has ordered a new mdf plant from the German group. This investment will enable the Thai company to increase its production capacity to 500 thousand cubic meters of panels per year.

THE PLANT.
The new plant designed by Siempelkamp will include the forming and pressing line with “ContiRoll” of “Generation 9i”. The Siempelkamp solution of self-adjusting mat weight distribution in longitudinal and transverse directions (Adaptive FormingSystem) will be used in the forming line. The mat is detected on the forming line with the “lysystem EcoScan Neo”, a product made by EWS, a Siempelkamp partner. “This data is the basis for optimizing the distribution of the mat through the upstream aggregates. An optimal setting is calculated through the control algorithms on the corresponding aggregate controls and readjusted continuously. The order volume ends with an acceleration roller conveyor downstream of the triple diagonal saw”, the company explained in the press release issued following the order.
