During the last edition of Ligna, Biesse presented Biesse Technic, the brand of the group that brought integrated production lines to the market, designed to address the growing complexity of industrial processes involving wood, glass, and stone.
Biesse Technic was presented at the fair through a multimaterial production line: a concept designed to offer a complete and immersive experience, with live demonstrations, finished components, and digital simulations, where every material flow on display reflected a real production need.
In the Biesse Machinery area, the renewed portfolio was introduced, offering a range of solutions tailored to meet the needs of different market segments, creating value across a variety of production contexts.
Within a dynamic setting, visitors were guided through the “Machinery Box”, interactive spaces that introduced a new approach to customer engagement. These areas featured digital tools, 3D models, interactive content, and a comprehensive repository, allowing for an immersive and seamless exploration of technologies, configurations, and solutions.
The Machinery Boxes also served as connection points with the new “Biesse Material Hub” network, unique multimaterial experience centers already established in Australia, Japan, France, Portugal, and Canada. Visitors had the opportunity to connect live with the Hubs, watch demonstrations, and explore the technological capabilities of the machines.
In the booth’s components area, HSD and Diamut were present, featuring a display that previewed new visuals and logos, along with the main product innovations for various materials.
Moreover, during Ligna, visitors had the chance to explore the key projects Biesse was involved in, in collaboration with a selected group of partner companies.
At the LIGNA.Stage, located in Hall 12, an update on the European project EcoReFibre was presented. The project aims to develop innovative solutions for recycling wood fibers from end-of-life panels and reusing them as raw materials for new MDF panel production.
Within FutureSquare, in Hall 12, VDMA Area, the ETML project was launched. This initiative enables seamless communication between tools, machines, and software platforms from different companies, ensuring consistent, verified, and secure tool data throughout the entire lifecycle.
On the occasion of Ligna, Biesse also promoted the “Biesse International Design Award”, in collaboration with POLI.design, the postgraduate education center founded by the Politecnico di Milano. The competition aimed to engage students and designers internationally in creating an iconic multimaterial object designed to be displayed in the material area of the Biesse Material Hub.
