Biesse has announced the resignation of Massimo Potenza from his roles as CEO, Managing Director, and General Manager, effective immediately. The decision follows Potenza’s intention to pursue new professional opportunities.
Chairman Roberto Selci has been appointed as the new CEO, assuming the same powers previously held by Potenza.
In connection with his departure, Potenza will receive a gross severance payment of 800,000 euros, including a settlement amount. He will retain certain non-monetary benefits and remain bound by a non-compete agreement, for which he will be paid 180,000 euros gross per year. He has waived his rights under the 2024–2026 LTI plan.
The transaction, classified as a related-party transaction of lesser importance, was approved by the board following the recommendation of the remuneration committee and the favorable opinion of independent directors.
Potenza currently holds 7,100 shares in the company.
