Salvamac e Harwi join forces in cross-cutting

Salvamac and Harwi have started a new collaboration focused on wood cross-cutting solutions. The partnership, launched at the end of 2025, has led to the development of a dedicated machine based on the technology of the Legend Series and distributed through the Dutch company’s sales network.

Salvamac and Harwi have started a new collaboration in the field of wood cross-cutting solutions. The relationship between the two companies began towards the end of 2025 during the “Salvamac Together” event and has progressively developed into the creation of a specific solution for the markets served by the Dutch company.

Harwi has been operating for more than sixty years in the woodworking machinery and industrial cutting systems sector, with an established presence in the Netherlands and on international markets. Historically associated also with radial saws, the company has identified growing demand for solutions capable of combining safety, ergonomics, productivity and ease of use.

These aspects provided the basis for the dialogue with Salvamac and, in particular, for the approach adopted with the Legend Series, where safety is integrated into the machine design from the outset. This is combined with a structure designed for industrial use, simple construction and a focus on precision and process stability over time.

The collaboration has therefore gone beyond simply adding a standard Salvamac machine to Harwi’s portfolio. The two companies have developed a dedicated solution that retains Salvamac’s technological concept while being marketed through Harwi’s established sales channels under the “Salvamac by Harwi” name.

The project is particularly focused on the Netherlands and the other markets where Harwi has built up its presence. At the same time, the two companies intend to continue their collaboration on further developments, drawing on market feedback and the needs identified among users and dealers.
