Siempelkamp: success in Lexington

Eleven weeks after the first panel was produced, the plant built by Siempelkamp for Egger in Lexington, North Carolina, achieved the desired performance, after a complicated start from the health emergency.

A positive result obtained thanks to the daily collaboration between Egger and the work team that Siempelkamp supplied directly on site and that allowed the Austrian group to produce a new line of chipboard panels.

Lexington is our twentieth location and it is critical to the group’s expansion into the North American market“, said Bernhard Vorreiter, Lexingoton’s project manager. “We are really satisfied with the result and the speed with which it has been reached despite the many limitations resulting from the health emergency“.
