Sebastiano Cerullo is the new general manager of FederlegnoArredo

After 20-year career in FederlegnoArredo, Giovanni De Ponti left the office as general manager of the Federation for new professional experiences, handing over Sebastiano Cerullo, former vice general manager. “It will be our task to continue to be at the service of companies giving a new path to the directions indicated by the new presidency…” says Sebastiano Cerullo, new general manager of FederlegnoArredo.
One of the basic tasks that will immediately engage the new general manager will be the development of operations by the association that will be reflected in a listening and a timely presence in the territory to give concrete answers to the companies, in addition to the commitment to innovate and expand national and international development. “We are grateful to Giovanni De Ponti for creating a solid foundation for our business and have contributed to the growth of the Federation which today represents one of the crucial sectors for the economy of the country. Cerullo, born in 1970 in Avigliana (Torino), graduated in Forest Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Turin, has extensive experience in the industry: between the various positions, he has held since 2002 as General Secretary of the Consorzio servizi legno-sughero (Consortium for wood-cork services); since 2011 he is the coordinator of all the activities of Wood Department of the Federation, until he assumed the position of deputy general manager in 2015.
He is the author of numerous technical publications related to wood and to the environment, which are today a reference for the industry, thanks to the skills of relationships and networking that has been able to create and develop with the stakeholders.
