Agreement Fla/Bologna Fiere for furniture market development in China

FederlegnoArredo and Bologna Fiere have created an alliance to facilitate the entry of the Italian wood-furniture chain in the Chinese market in the coming years. The agreement will be formalized with the creation of a Newco in Shanghai that will be tasked to carry out the activities that will be planned from now on for that market, including the launch of the Italian furniture fair in China in 2016.
For some years now the operators of wood-furniture market consider the Chinese market as a great potential one. FederlegnoArredo and Bologna Fiere have decided to put their forces together to create a new model system of the country that is able to withstand the competition of Italian companies on the huge Chinese market.
The agreement with Bologna Fiere intends to put to use the work of study that FederlegnoArredo intelligence has developed in recent years in relation to the furniture in Chinese market, an activity that was reflected in particular by the incoming of selected Chinese operators in Italy and thanks to a in-depth research on the tastes of Chinese consumers.
